Hi,

I have a doubt: Can I setup squid for allow full and free access during a limited time period (for example, 15 minutes per day) for users can access to any site without restrictions?

I don't like prohibit access to some popular sites, but I can't open it permanently, since this is an office and people should work, but I understand that sometimes, a relax period is useful for work better, so I'm considering leave about 15 minutes per day of free and full access. So, employees can visit his facebook profile, personal mail and others non work-related sites during shorts periods of time.

Can I do this with squid and dansguardian?

you can mange to do it using a simple auth helper or acl helper that has some daily database and if a user flag the login it will mark this hour and every time the user will try to access the site the helper will check the last time the flag was raied on the 24 hour period and if it's 15-20 minutes now more then the flags table and you flush the list every midnight or what so.

(this is a simple technological solution.)

i must say that it should be more then 15-20 minutes or leave an option for some openings cause people today are addicted to internet.
