Click on the particular release package name you are considering moving
to. It is important to check the particular release you are moving to
since things from 2.x get sponsored for porting to 3.x as needed. So the
list can change between any two 3.x releases.
In a vague general capabilities comparison 3.0 is roughly equivalent to
mid-series 2.6 and 3.1 is roughly equivalent to 2.7. 3.2 has recently
past 2.7, but still in development beta.
