Excuse the basic question but is adding comments to external files allowed in squid. For example...
acl blockedsites dstdomain "/etc/squid3/blockedsites.txt" > cat /etc/squid3/blockedsites.txt # block facebook .facebook.com I googled and found examples where comments were used but nothing conclusive to say it's ok. I have tested and it appears to work fine but want to be sure. Thanks
