>cache_dir rock /squid-cache/rock-2 3000 max-size=31000 max-swap-rate=250
swap-timeout=350
does using smp can make delay when starting squid ? i mean that rebuildig
process take more time when using smp ??!! <

AFAIK, squid has to scan the rock-cachedir during startup, to identify all
cached objects. This introduces some delay, although not specific to SMP.
