Yes, Squid can adapt (modify) requests that it forwards, including the Request URI part of the request. Please see http://wiki.squid-cache.org/SquidFaq/ContentAdaptation for a discussion of various options available for that. Please note that you will probably need to modify the Host header as well as the Request URI. HTH, Alex.
