I'm sure you know this but just to make sure there is positive confirmation, neither the patch nor the --disable-eui resolves the: /usr/bin/ld.bfd.real: ../snmplib/libsnmplib.a(snmp_vars.o): relocation R_X86_64_32 against `.rodata' can not be used when making a shared object; recompile with -fPIC Cheers, b.
