Hi, please, is possible to have a dump of all the configuration for
Squid v2.4, SquidGuard and an Apache web server on port 80?.
(the CGI, the lines into the squidguard.conf, lines into squid.conf
and I have found in no place what is putted into the expressions file
of squidguard:

dest virus{
expressionlist blacklists/virus/expressions
log virus.log
redirect http://127.0.0.1/c/s.dll/viralator.cgi?url=%u
}

In the file blacklists/virus/expressions what is written inside?.

Thanks a lot.

Hi Ankit,

I got viralator working with transparent proxying. I was having a
problem with the redirection because my Apache is running on a port
other than 80, but I managed to find the setting in viralator.cgi and
modify it so it would redirect to the correct port. Thanks a lot
Ankit.

Scott

I am attachin the modified viralator.cgi(i modified the 0.9pre1 avail
on
the
site).

My squidguard.conf is somethin like this:

------------------------------------------------------
dest virus{
expressionlist blacklists/virus/expressions
log virus.log
redirect http://127.0.0.1/c/s.dll/viralator.cgi?url=%u

}
------------------------------------------------------
Notice there is no "|"(pipe) char after "url=", its not required now.
I
was
facing lots of probs cos of that, so i had 2 change it to get it
working.

Do let me know whether this works for you or not.
Also, u must set ure browser to NOT use proxy for the server hostin
the
proxy
server.
