I've read through the archives and I'm still confused. The .diff files are used to document the changes made over time. A domains file dated 12/20/01 would already incorporate all .diff filesm prior to that date. So why does whitehouse.com, for example, appear in domains.diff file prior to 12/20/01 yet does not appear in the actual domains file dated 12/20/01?
A second question: given a large domain file, I assume that creating a pre-built database from it improves the squidguard startup time. Are there any other benefits?
