I can't tell you about version 1.2 (because I haven't upgraded), but the previous version of squidGuard would never complain about not being able to find a file unless it couldn't find the file. > squidGuard file owner and group are set to squid.squid Have you verified that the files have the appropriate permissions? Why is it looking for urls.diff$ and urls.diff%?
