Dave,

I'm not sure what to tell you, other than "it works for me".

I've attached my config file. After reading your response, I tried
going to a url that I know is in the porn destination group. I was
redirected and the url I requested was in the browser address box.

I made one change to the config - I added "302:" in front of the
porn redirect. I did a "squid -k reconfigure" and tried it again. I
received the same redirect screen, but now the url of the redirect
screen was in the browser address box.

I don't know what else to tell you...

Rick

Subject: RE: REDIRECT vs REDIRECT 302:

Rick,

Thx for the follow-up.

Actually, I tried it both ways... With and without the 302. Also
with redirects tied only to destination rules and also tied only to
ACL's.

The config I posted was an example of one of the methods I tried....
and I guessed that there would be questions about how/why I had it
set up.... but nothing has worked so far - so I figured any version
of the config would be good for the sake of discussion...

I tried what you suggested - but the address bar still switches to
the redirect URL...

Any other thoughts?

Here is the new current version of my config with your suggested
changes included.
