The author is doing his new users a great disservice by including
those files with the blacklist files.

squidGuard only looks for two files: "domains.diff" and "urls.diff".

Put your "+google.com" in "domains.diff" and try it again.

Subject: Can't update db files

I'm running squidguard-1.2.0 on squid-2.4.stable6. When I create the
db files
with "/usr/local/bin/squidGuard -C all" it creates the domains.db
and urls.db
- no problem there. However, when I use /usr/local/bin/squidGuard -u
nothing
happens. The file size does not change, and if I had +google.com (as
a trial)in
domains.20020415.diff it is not added to the db. I tested the db for
entries
with "strings domains.db | grep google"

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
