Yes, that is alright, what I found after much digging in the archives is
that it needed to all be run as the same user as squid.

chown'ed all the files and now everything initializes just fine.

_HOWEVER_, it will not redirect anything from a client, yet it will at the
server console.

Keep in mind I have been using an older version of squidguard successfully
for at least two years.  I had to upgrade my httpd, squid, berkeley DB and
squidguard as we started using a different box.  Squid, httpd work just
fine, and it appears that squidguard _works_ in that it will initialize, but
not redirect.

Any ideas?
