I tried that, received the same error. Are there any other ideas for this problem?

Hi,

Change the redirector line to use -c /path/to/conf

Ours is something like this :

#  TAG: redirect_program
#       Specify the location of the executable for the URL redirector.
#       Since they can perform almost any function there isn't one included.
#       See the Release-Notes for information on how to write one.
#       By default, a redirector is not used.
#
#Default:
# none
redirect_program /usr/local/bin/squidGuard -c /usr/local/squidGuard/filter.conf

Cheers

Andy

Subject: New user, having trouble

I am new at this, so please bear with me.
As I try to reconfigure squid, after changeing the squid.conf file, the following takes place.
 squid -k reconfigure
FATAL: Unable to open configuration file: /tmp/squid2build/home/squid2/etc/squid.conf: (2) No such file or directory
Squid Cache (Version 2.3.STABLE3): Terminated abnormally.
CPU Usage: 0.010 seconds = 0.000 user + 0.010 sys
Maximum Resident Size: 0 KB
Page faults with physical i/o: 193
There is no squid2build directory. How do I get squid to look elsewhere for the .conf file, or how should I proceed?

Thanks,
Annesa
