My knee jerk is that it is not a platform issue. Double and triple check your path to the redirector in squid.conf and the syntax of squidGuard.conf and paths to the dbs. Also check permissions on any files/dir that squidGuard needs to access.

Subject: problem with squidGuard on suse ( on IBM platform )

hi all
I have already used SquidGuard on Redhat 7.x and every thing was well.
Now I should use it with suse on IBM platform.

its kernel attributes:
# uname  -a --> linux orchid 2.2.16  #1 SMP s390

It seem ,squid doesn't understand the existence of SquidGuard.

every thing that I've done : I uncommented the line "redirector_program ......." and added this line:
                                      http_access allow all

any help would be welcome.
thanks, Ehsan Nazerfard
