I seem to have the same problem as a lot of other
people: I get a "squidGuard/db/porn/domains.diff+: no such file or directory"
error when I issue "squidGuard -u". However, I may have a twist on the issue
(maybe) that might shed some lite. I have domains.db and domains.diff files in
ads, aggressive, and porn. The only one that fails with the error is the one in
porn. The other 2 are fine and the log shows the number entries added and
deleted for them.
Is it possible that the problem is that there's a
corruption in a config file somewhere that is causing squidGuard to look for an
incorrect file name? I mean, how can it be that 2 of the file names are correct
and one isn't? If it is a corruptoin, can anyone tell me where to look for it. I
tried "grep -i -r 'domains.diff' /*" to see if I could find a file, but the
command just hung there, most likely because I'm such a linux newbie that I
screwed it up :)
thankx.
