This is an update on the "freshness" of the blacklists available
from the squidGuard site.

After almost 4 months (appx 114 days) with no updates, the porn
domains and urls files have been updated. 114 days is two
forevers when you are trying to keep up with new porn sites,
so you would expect this would be a large update to bring the
database current. Think again. After 114 days, here's how the
7/19/2002 files compare to the last update (3/20/02):

                        domains urls
03/20/2002 119,043 25,099
07/19/2002 108,191 21,778
Change -10,852 -3,321

The number of blocked domains was reduced by 9% and the number
of blocked urls was reduced by 13%.

This information is based on my blacklists downloads in 2002
(twice in January, once a week since then). I used the header
information inside the file ("This list was created on ...") to
determine the file's creation date, with the exception of the mail
group, where I had to use the file's date/time stamp.
