I can't figure out if this is a squid issue, or a firewall issue. I have a
squid server running on port 8080, running transparently for my internal
clients. All outgoing requests for port 80 get redirected to the squid
server at port 8080. All works great, except for a couple of sites, that I
suspect are redirecting that traffic to another port, although I can't tell
by my browser. The site is www.dwd.state.wi.us. We use it to report employee
hiring, along with the rest of the state. Every time anyone tries to
navigate to it, it just times out. We can, however, access it from home with
no problem. Shouldn't squid handle these redirects?
