All, I am new in squidGuard environment, I am having a Redhat 7.2 installed and squid-2.4.STABLE1-5, now I have installed the squidGuard with SquidGuard-1.2.0-3.rpm.
The path for squidguard is as follows :- /var/lib/squidGuard/blacklist /etc/squid/squidGuard.conf I have given the redirect_program to squidguard in squid.conf, I am having some queries which as follows :- 1. Do I have to download db for squidguard ? there is a blacklist directory in /var/lib/squidGuard/blacklist, is this a database or ???? 2. OR rpm is having everything in RPM ? 3. How do I define path for blacklist in squidGuard.conf viz. dest porn 4. After defining new file for blocking in blacklist, how can I update my database ? 5. Anybody having a sample configuration for squidGuard ? Can somebody help me in this. Thanks for helping me in advance. Mansur Ali
