Could it be blocking .css, .js, etc?  Could some of the
connections be timing out before reaching the browser?

If its a relatively simple page, I'd grab the source code of the
knackered ones and paste each link individually into a browser
(or copy link/image location, etc.) whilst at the same time
checking the logs.  Its probably a little cumbersome, that way,
but it makes it easier when its not obvious what's being
blocked... easier for me anyway :)
