HOTEL BETHLEHEM is as twisted, sordid and anachronistic as the actual Bible
stories it's based on� only funnier. Writers Kelly and Bryant chronicle the
possible events within the hotel that turns away Mary and Joseph on the
night of Christ's birth and the divine retribution that strikes its
inhabitants.
HOTEL BETHLEHEM's skewed look at the Nativity wickedly commingles tales
from both testaments and offers bawdy, comic riffs on the themes of faith
and "goodness" in a confusing moral world.
For the masses tired of Tiny Tim and those who wanna crack the Nutcracker
where it counts, HOTEL BETHLEHEM offers a laugh-packed alternative to the
standard holiday fare. Written by San Francisco playwright Tom W. Kelly and
LA-based screenwriter Tim Bryant, the second coming of this holiday farce
runs at the EXIT on Taylor, 277 Taylor Street, San Francisco, for only a
few more performances:

The talented ensemble of actors includes Second City Improv National
Touring Company member Shaun Landry in dual roles: Sarah (a surrogate of
Lot's wife) and a myopic vengeful angel. Ms. Landry is the co-founder and
artistic director of OUI BE NEGROES, the original African-American Improv
Troupe.
Ms. Landry is joined by Travis Bedard, Erin Gilley, Kevin Johnson, Ben
Jones, Debbie Rakotomalala, Breanne Russell and Robert A. Zick, Jr.
