World Premiere Showcase of "The Big Time Happy Number One Good American
Show," a wacky and entirely fictional ultra-original musical, based on the
Japanese anime-style cartoon "Trailer Park Princess," by Philip Newby and
Cory McDaniel.
17 year-old high school sophomore Bobby Sue Sawyer is vying for the title
of Miss Trailerpark Princess. Throw in a vicious pack of scurvy-ridden
Cheerleaders, a wish granting fairy, a ceramic lawn gnome come to life, a
cannibalistic trailer park manager and her evil genius mail-order groom, a
talking teddy bear, and an invisible robot army, and you've got the makings
of one action-packed night out at the theater.
The all-original musical is composed by Horus Tolson, who has had a long
and varied career in the music world including producing Sylvester, members
of En Vogue, Soul To Soul, and the Supremes.
