Come get the funk up with the crew best known for almost singlehandedly
keeping hip-hop alive in a house-and-techno-drenched desert. DJs CHARLES,
SOLOMON, ZEPH, and guests spin HIP-HOP, DEEP FUNK, ROCKSTEADY, and SOUL in
the basement of SubLounge, a freak-owned dive bar with a new face lift in
the supposedly hip-pening Dogpatch corridor on 3rd Street. Drink specials,
video games, Jello shots, and other insanities provided. Costumes
encouraged but not required; extra funk points for safety orange clothing
or murder jumpsuits. The unofficial after-party for at least a few of the
Santarchy Santas that will still be (at least sort of) standing. Porn
clowns and monkeys welcome (no easter bunnies). BRING IT.
