Artists of Issaquah are to host their second annual exhibition and "open boat" event on Issaquah Dock in Sausalito, April 26th from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. This exhibit will showcase over 60 recent works from 12 Issaquah-based artists including painters, sculptors, photographers, a fine art wood turner, and a jeweler. Six houseboats will be open for visitors as venues for the art. This year 10% of all art sales will be donated to The Imagine Bus Project.
Last year�s event attracted 500 visitors to enjoy the art, see Sausalito's celebrated Issaquah Dock and meet the artists who live and work there. "Issaquah Dock is a uniquely beautiful and tranquil location,� The dock is lined with exotic plants, unusual and beautiful floating homes � set in the lovely ambiance of San Francisco Bay with sea birds, sea lions, yachts and dinghies all around. Sausalito's tradition as an artists�colony will never return, however this event allows visitors to re-discover Issaquah Dock Artists and create a new community with art as a focus,"
Exhibiting artists include: Barbara Duncan, painting; Ted Eitelbuss, painting and sculpture; Krista Kielman, painting and collage; Tomas Ludlam, wood turning; Sandi MacLeod, painting; Richard Mickley, sculpture; Ric Miller, photography; Emily Riddell, photography; John Ryan, painting and ink-and-watercolor drawing; Jon Sibaila, jewelry; Annie Sutter, painting; and Jim Woessner, painting and mixed-media sculpture.
