Shadow Circus Creature Theatre, San Francisco's most belligerent puppetry troupe, sets its sights on Dr. Seuss in `The Cat in the Hat (chet)' � a biting satire on corporate media and its marketing of our childhood fantasies. When a Hollywood studio decides to film a big- budget adaptation of `The Lorax' in Golden Gate Park, they inadvertently anger the Spirit of the Trees. Now the elfin patriarch, along with his legion of Faerie Trash mercenaries, are set to halt the celluloid travesty and put Hollywood in its place - once and for all
