Well, our doorman Phoenix ended up with the high bid for the bar but he didn't break the
reserve so I guess it's bullshit as usual for the Odeon...
The Friday night:
WHAT: Fear & Loathing at the Odeon: A Twisted Night in Vegas (with The Fuxedos, Project:
Pimento, Kitty Kitty Bang Bang, and more!)
WHEN: Friday, 5/21 at 9:00 p.m.
WHERE: The Odeon Bar, 3223 Mission Street @ Valencia, SF (415) 550-6994
HOW MUCH: A mere $7 ($5 if you bring a bottle of ether).
Featuring the music of The Fuxedos, a mutant hybrid of lounge, punk, freaky improv, dub,
storytelling, and bizarrely humorous theatrics. Band members' credits include Idiot Flesh,
Les
Claypool's Flying Frog Brigade, the Billy Nayer Show, Charming Hostess, Dan Hicks, and
Casino
Royale.
The night will feature an eclectic assortment of additional twisted Vegas-style performers,
including the theremin weirdness of Project: Pimento and the hot burlesque of Kitty Kitty
Bang
Bang. Special guests include the mighty Mr. Lucky, the savage Gorilla X, and the world's
greatest
living Pogo Stick Striptease artist, Roky Roulette. Plus Hunter S. Thompson videos, thrilling
casino action, and more! "Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas" costume and/or freaky lounge attire
encouraged, but not required.
Then, on SATURDAY night: This is your invitation to get drunk with the FLAG TEAM Of the EXTRA ACTION MARCHING BAND

This expos� of the flag teams� extra curricular activities is on display one night & one night
only for your pleasure and entertainment.
All proceeds go to get the Foundation for More New Uniforms for the Flag Team.
