about BLOW - Beautiful Lips On Whistles
BLOW is a unique grassroots harm-reduction campaign using the safety-whistle as a
symbol to empower against hate crimes. Although many crimes in volume have gone
down, the general consensus is that the crimes that do happen are more violent
including rape, faith and religious-based attacks, hate-crimes based on nationality or
expressed or perceived sexual minorities. You don't have to be queer for someone to
attack you. With marriage being such a hot button there is an online explosion of hate
sites against queer folks.
