Don't miss this special chance this Sunday the 30th to treat yourself to a
luxurious and stimulating evening for all the senses as your serenaded by
the dolce tones from the gilded age of 1920�s and 30�s Paris courtesy of
two of the Bay Areas finest ensembles.
Once again this Sunday at Amnesia we�re offering up a one way ticket to la belle epoch and beyond as we take a bon voyage back to the hot jazz clubs and cafes of Paris circa 1933 courtesy of two of San Francisco�s premiere musical ensembles: the Baguette Quartette and members from the Hot Club of San Francisco in a new project Gyp.
The Baguette Quartette plays music that was heard in Paris between 1920 and 1940 on street corners, in cafes, and in popular dance halls. Led by accordionist Odile Lavault, its repertoire consists of valses musettes, tangos, pasos dobles, fox trots, marches and realistic songs.

Grapelli. With members from the Hot Club of San Francisco such as Ari
Munkres, Josh Whartman, and Paul Mehling, Gyp brings world-class talent
to bear on the infinitely listenable and energetic jazz that once made it�s
home in the smoky cafes of 1930�s Paris.
As an added enticement we�ll be airing the film that made Ms. Clara Bow
the "It" girl of all time beginning at 6pm � just in time for the happiest of
hours. Take note lovelies that this is a special evening resplendent with
fine music and therefore will begin promptly at 9pm. Please, don�t be late
mon cherries. And as always you attire adds to the beauty of the evening!
