Ignite is more than just a party. Ignite is a conscious experience dedicated to sparking your creative spirit through visual art, performance, and dance.
This special evening is a directed experience divided into three distinct phases, each building upon the energy of the one preceding.
Bask in the Glow of: Snow Leopard, Transformational Artwork by Yurik Riegel and a host of other visual artists, the Poetry of Monique Lee, the Vocal Talents of Sara Logan (semi-finalist on American Idol), and the LAZULI Belly Dance Troupe.
SPARK We strike the match, and wonder at the white-hot sparks of talent firing out into our experience, filling us with inspiration and delight.
Catch the Sparks of: DJ Swami , Kid Beyond 's live beat-box looping, the Progressive Funk of Radius , and Trip-Hop Sensation, Zonk (opened for De La Soul in Boston in April)
IGNITE As the oxygen swirls deep into our bodies, we welcome the music into our souls. Feel the heat of your own inner creativity, as you let the inspiration you've experienced express itself in your own dance.
Feel the Heat of: the Temple of Poi Dance Troupe, The Dance Performance Fashion Show, and the sounds of DJ's Rhythmystic, Damien, and Daren.
Proceeds from this event will go towards the enhancement of the Artistic Environment at CellSpace, The Drawbridge Organization (an organization bringing the healing power of Art to homeless children in the Bay Area), and the Ignite Arts Organization Future Projects Fund.
