Monthly meeting of the Robotics Society of America. This Month's Schedule-
Sumo competition: Mini sumos compete in a short match. If you've got a sumo, bring it!
Featured speaker: Heather Dewey-Hagborg will show you how to solder surface-mount parts using a toaster oven. If you thought that you couldn't solder surface mount parts, come to this meeting to see how easy it is to make your own surface mount boards. Heather will be demonstrating using an actual toaster oven and surface mount parts.
Robot Soccer League: First meeting to create a RobotSoccer team in the Bay Area. All sorts of talent is needed. Even if you've never build a bot, think about joining!
Usual networking: Meet robot builders of all sorts. Make friends. Geek out.
