One of the Bay Area's hottest bands comes to Sanchez Concert Hall for a very special benefit show for the Pacifica Ocean Discovery Center. The talent packed into this band defies description - it must be experienced. Driving rhythms, perfect synchronicity, and one surprise after another should be enough to keep any music fan smiling and their feet moving. Formed in the Sierra Mountains on a backpacking trip in 1999, the Hot Buttered Rum String Band came back with 'High Altitude Bluegrass'. Guaranteed to fix your attitude, the band will cruise into Pacifica in their biodeisel bus this upcoming Friday. The Concert Hall doors will open at 7:30pm.
As if a little Hot Buttered Rum weren't enough to get you out to support a great cause, we are lucky to have Pacifica's own extreme jugglers EarthCapades Environmental Vaudeville troupe performing as well! Amazing to all ages, you won't want to miss them. Fortunately, with their stilts, unicycle & dazzling juggling, EarthCapades is hard to miss.
Pacifica still needs a headquarters for ocean education, and PODC is excited to be working with the City of Pacifica to create one. Come see the new plans for our future home, and have a wonderful time while you are here. Tickets are just $12 at the door.
