Yes, Oaktown poetry slam fans, the Oakland Slam continues its tour of venues named "Oakland" - it has been at the Oakland Box, Oaklandish, and now, the Oakland Metro, home of the Oakland Opera. Anybody sensing a general theme here? That's right, folkers, this slam season will be filled with newness - new formats, tandem competitions, child features and more!
