Phaedra loves her step-son William and will stop at nothing to win his love. No one can stop her: not her husband, not her servant, not his lover or the woman of his dreams. Phaedra will have William! Matthew Maguire has been a singular voice in the American Theatre, creating a body of work that is almost impossible to pin down in either style or concern.
