"We are most excited to bring Leslie's greatest opus to San
Francisco: one which is poignant, profound, and utterly hysterical.
Everyone relates to this comedic work about growing up and growing
old and finding one's true self amid the chaos" - said producer Joe
Spotts. "It is hard to describe the effect Leslie's performance has
on the audience. Some people leave performances stunned and amazed,
while others immediately reach for their cell phones to tell friends,
you must see this show."

In 1982, Leslie Jordan stepped off a Greyhound bus from the hills of
Tennessee and since then has appeared in hundreds of TV shows, film
and commercials. Leslie is definitely one of our culture's darlings -
referring to a fan base that stems from the astounding success of Del
Shores' cult classic film adaptation of his play SORDID LIVES in
which Leslie played the break-out role of Brother Boy - co starring
Olivia Newton-John, Delta Burke, and Beau Bridges. Jordan has
recurring roles on the hit TV shows: WILL AND GRACE - (playing the
recurring role of Beverly Leslie, the best friend and arch nemesis of
Karen - Megan Mullaly), BOSTON PUBLIC, REBA, and has also appeared on
ALLY McBEAL. On stage, Jordan has won the "Ovation Award," the
"Garland Award," and the "LA Drama Critics Circle Award" for his
portrayal of Preston Leroy, the aging, sodden homosexual in Del
Shores' hit play SOUTHERN BAPTIST SISSIES. His screenplay LOST IN THE
PERSHING POINT HOTEL won the LA Independent Film Festival's
Production Grant Award, beating out over 600 other scripts.
Subsequently, it was made into an independent film that is currently
being distributed by Northern Arts Entertainment. Leslie is one of
the stars in the 2006 Planet Out Grand Prize Award-Winning short
movie SISSY FRENCHFRY (dir. JC Olivia) - with Miss Coco Peru.
