Saturdays from June 24 - July 29 8pm $12 general, $20 reserved ----/ Event Description /----------------------------------------------- Everyday Theatre (EDT) creators of "The Bright River" proudly present: "Dreaming in a Firestorm" a new show by Tim Barsky, with director Ellen Sebastian Chang Everyday Theatre follows up their smash hit "The Bright River" with another groundbreaking production. "Dreaming in a Firestorm" is the fairy-tale story of a musician walking home from a gig through a San Francisco that is part dream and part disaster. Drawn from interviews with Bay Area performers, paramedics, teachers, and firefighters, "Dreaming" weaves together interconnected oral histories centering on the experience of hoping against hope inside a world on fire, and seeking a happy ending against all odds. The show combines beatbox, a live hip-hop soundtrack, physical theatre, and traditional Jewish folklore.
