Saturday, July 1st 9:00pm-2:00am $10 ----/ Event Description /----------------------------------------------- Ever wanted to date a rockstar? Here's your chance! 'Date a Rockstar' is an electric benefit for Rock Your Awareness, an organization dedicated to educating and advocating HIV / AIDS awareness and sexual health education to the young generation through music. Auction to win a date with the hottest bay area bands: Luxxury, Boyskout, Brilliant Red Lights, Tokyo Decadence, and DJ Meikee Magnetic. "Date a Rockstar" is a benefit show / party (21+) to raise funds for Rock Your Awareness. Five bands will perform, after each performance is an auction where the audience can bid on a dinner date with one of the band members. Then on July 15th (tentative) all winners and participating band members will have a complimentary group dinner, provided by the Featured Restaurant Sponsor. Rock Your Awareness's mission is to: Empower young adults to organize innovative community-wide campaigns, collaborate with local health agencies, advocate, educate and raise awareness about important issues especially STD / HIV / AIDS. Our main program is Rock for AIDS Awareness.
