The internationally acclaimed outlandish celebration of sex and drag and rock&roll brings out the animal in the true sense as it is a benefit for PAWS (Pets Are Wonderful Support). The Contest, which has been captivating audiences with potent performances for 10 years, will be held on Thursday Night, August 17, 8pm to 3am at the legendary DNA Lounge. Biceps and trousers bulging, the contestants will turn you on with their outrageous theatrical styles where lipsynch, live rock, fetish, burlesque, hip-hop, rap, interpretive dance and schtick meet and occasionally beat meat. "This party is like a mash-up of the Miss America Pageant, American Idol, Halloween and a Monster Truck Show except all the talent is in Drag! We have wrestlers, contortionists, Elvis, Prince and Billy Idol Impersonators, Rappers, Dandies, Pimps, Leather Daddys, Hillbillies, Homo-erotic Jocks, Clowns, and their female counterparts. If that isn't mindboggling enough at times it is difficult to tell the performers from the audience, who dress to impress for the occasion." said impresario Fudgie Frottage. The Dragtastic Duo of FUDGIE FROTTAGE "The Man With The Biggest Balls in Show Business" and RUSTY HIPS who holds every Drag King title in SF, preside over the festivities as Master of Ceremonies.
