Waddell's work hinges on testing and experimenting with human identity. In Waddell's performance at The LAB, he will demonstrate the malleability of identity by embodying a fantasy deity- like persona known as Sunny. For five hours each day during gallery hours, Waddell will build, create, and perform the persona of Sunny as a way of changing the dominant set of attributes that describe his identity. In the process, the gallery space will also be transformed into Sunny's environment.
