Aftermodern Presents: "Shifting Landscapes: A Topographical Study"

Aftermodern, a contemporary fine art gallery, announced it is
presenting a new exhibition, "Shifting Landscapes: A Topographical
Study". This diverse group of artists explores spatial relationships
via a topography of perspectives using a variety of media such as
paint, paper, ink and wood veneer. An artists' opening reception
will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 12, 2006, and the works
will be on display through August 26.
The show, which is curated by Aftermodern's Gallery Director, Marissa
Gianno, brings together five artists from distinct parts of the
globe. Three of the artists, Bernardo Poggi Leigh, Brion Nuda Rosch
and Tahiti Pehrson, reside in the Bay Area and have shown locally and
nationally. Mia Liu, a young artist from Taiwan, will be appearing in
her first Bay Area exhibition and the Israeli artist Shay Kun, who
resides in New York, shows extensively on the international circuit.
Aftermodern LLC, a contemporary fine art gallery, explores the
perspectives of select emerging artists and assembles ten group or
solo exhibitions annually to probe contemporary experience. The
gallery is a 2,500 square foot showcase, framed by walls of steel,
glass and concrete. Aftermodern Art Gallery is located at 445 Bryant
Street between Second and Third Streets, in the SoMa district, just
four blocks south of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. The
gallery is open Monday - Friday, 11am - 6pm, Saturday, 11am - 5pm and
