Caleb,

         Thanks for the reply. What I needed to do was use my real IP address
in imapd instead of the loopback address and all is well. I did get the
answer from the qmail list from someone running the same setup as I. You
were right that I had the loopback address in my rcpt file so I now have
my real IP in there.
