I am about to start using Squirrelmail but before I
set it up on my box I thought I might be able to run it from a hosting
service I already have. Unfortunately, the support channel there has been less
than helpful as to whether or not their servers will support it. If someone
would take a look at the specs for each and let know I would be
grateful.
What I am particularly concerned about is the email
server requirements that Squirrelmail has:
IMAP4rev1 server (TheUWServer, CourierImap, TheCyrusServer, CommuniGate, MS Exchange
Server, MercuryMail

The hosting services supported

They did,however, that it will not work if I need
shell access. The hosting service does not support it. I briefly perused the
squirrelmail.org site but I didn't see any obvious information regarding this.
