I wouldn't call my response "anal", since we don't complain each time it happens. I'm different; I don't really see a need to double the bandwidth, and then make me delete the 2nd (sometimes more) copy that arrives as private email. To my way of thinking, and I know not everyone agrees, if you/I ask a question on a list, you/I answer on the list. I don't need a 2nd copy in private email.
