[SM-USERS] SM not sending mail

Hi,

I have this pressing problem that I can't seem to figure out. Some of our users are complaining that whenever they send email out, the email goes into the 'sent' folder but the mail didn't reach its intended recipient. I looked in the FAQ's and someone mentioned about turning on the 'file_uploads' in php.ini. I checked that and it was switched to 'on.' I also upgraded PHP to the most recent version. I'm currently using SM 1.2.7 but I upgraded to 1.2.9 but still have the same problem. I looked at the SMTP log and the email didn't even get logged. It seems that the client is not even connecting to the SMTP server.

The weird things here is that not all of our users are experiencing this problem. Some have no problem sending email at all. I hope anyone has an explanation and solution. Thanks.

I'm usinq QMail-LDAP on RH 7.3.
