I've found a couple entries in the archives on this by searching, but none of them have worked for me (I suspect because I am using version 1.2.9 and the other articles were quite old and applied to older versions). Basically, all I want to do is add a couple Telephone number fields and maybe some other custom fields of my own. I don't require any special validation on those fields, or anything fancy at all. I just want those fields.
If anyone knows how, I'd appreciate any help. When I tried to do what one of the other older articles did, my address book just stopped appearing. No error messages of any sort, my browser just went blank whenever I clicked on my address book.
