Somebody has brought this to our attention, and we know the cause of
it. EIMS returns the results in a different order then we expect
them. The way the system is currently written (in stable anyway), we
expect the results to be returned in a set order (not very RFC
compliant). Unfortunately to correct this issue, it'd result in a
huge rewrite of some of the major functions. The current devel
version should be able to handle the different order (or at least
Marc is working on it). This will be fixed in the 1.4 stable
  release.

So it shows the actually subject, to, from on the index? But then
doesn't display the message when you click?
