I downloaded squirrelmail 1.3.3 from cvs. When I re-setup squirrelmail I had it autodetect what kinds of passwords my imap server would accecpt. The response was cram-md5 was supported, so I enabled cram-md5 in config.php. When I look in the logs, I don't even see where it's attempting to authorize.There is a bug in current devel cvs. There's a fix pending, which should be committed in a few minutes. If you try to log in twice, it should work on the second attempt. (Follow the "click here to get to the login page" link)
