I installed the Redhat RPM version of Squirrelmail which I download
from the Squirrelmail web site. It seems to come with most of the
plugins available by running conf.pl.

My question is in regard to the htmlarea plugin. I enabled this and I
can use the enhanced editor to compose email. And it works fine. The
problem is that the codes inserted into the email are not decoded on
received email. All I see is the plain text version with all the codes
displayed. I tried turning on html as default and it displays other
mail in html mode, but not what is generated by SquirrelMail.

These codes are not decoded when reading them with AOL email either,
maybe this is normal, I am not that familiar with "fancy email" all I
ever used is plain text, I have a user that is asking for this
feature...

Sorry if this is a really dumb question, but I am stumped. I an using
IE5.5 to read the mail.

Thanks

-Pete
