Just as a note, should someone *not* be aware:

ActiveState has a freely downloadable Perl distribution for Win32, here:
http://activestate.com/Products/ActivePerl/

So, if you want to run conf.pl, download and install ActiveState Perl, and
launch using:

Perl config/conf.pl
