  Then your new server is using Maildir/ and your old one mbox. Are
  you *sure* the new server is using UW-IMAP, and not something like
  courier? You need to get a conversion script (mbox to Maildir) to
  convert the mail files over. The other method requires that you
  login to each and every account, and copy the mails between the
  server.
