Message I sent to the mailman list got bounced with "The message's content
type was not explicitly allowed"
This is my last kick at the cat, so to speak...
Mailman-2.1 and squirrelmail-2.1.10. I must have something set up all
wrong, but haven't had any luck at trying to figure it out on my own. I've
posted on this issue before.
The problem: all mail to the lists I set up on the site are seen in
squirrelmail as attachments, not in the message body. When I send mail to
the list from pine, the message text appears as text.
Mail from both the squirrelmail and this list are viewed in squirrelmail
in the message body, and only when someone sends mail as html is there an
attachment, but even the html email is seen in the message body.
I've added stripmime.pl and indicated it in the aliases file, ran
newaliases, and I STILL get all the mail on the lists as attachments. I've
tried turning off all the html in squirrelmail, taking out the mime
strippers in mailman, adding the mime strippers back, and I'm stumped.
This line
Content-Type: multipart/mixed; boundary="===============65735705333818695=="
keeps appearing in the headers, and I *_think_* it's the problem. In html
email from the SM and MM lists, this is what the content type headers
appear as:
Content-Type: multipart/alternative;
boundary="----=_NextPart_000_0008_01C2CF96.2428E8A0"
I would really appreciate some help on this, as I would really like
Mailman to be the site list manager. I hve a lot of users using SM, so
changing it as the webmail agent is not an option.
Thanks
