Our web site uses
.asp pages on a Microsoft Windows 2000 Server environment. Our
SquirrelMail is hosted on a Linux box. We know the SquirrelMail username
and password when our users log into the ASP pages. What we want to do is
find out if the user has any new mail and display a special image to them to
open SquirrelMail. The link to open SquirrelMail is no problem, we have
that done. Our question is how can I determine from our .asp pages if the
user has any new mail without having to display the window used by the Notify
New Mail Popup plugin?
